Totsuko is a high school student who has the ability to see the βcolorsβ of others. The colors of happiness, excitement, and peace, as well as the color she considers her favorite. Kimi, a classmate at her school, chooses the most beautiful color. Although she doesnβt play an instrument, Totsuko forms a band with Kimi and Rui, two quiet music lovers they meet at a used bookstore in a remote part of town.
